SHED FEATURES All Backyard Sheds from Backyard Works are built with a robust Standard Feature Package – more than enough for most customer’s needs.

Backyard Works offers Built to Fit customization for your shed and your backyard needs. Below is our Backyard Shed Standard Features Package and a select listing of Backyard Shed Premium Options.     Walls: 2” x 4” kiln dried spruce studs, 16” on centre w/ bottom plate & 2 top plates. Standard wall height – up to 7’10”.
    Corners: 3) 2” x 4” studs with blocking
    Floor: 2” x 6” Pressure Treated floor joists, 16” on centre, 2” x 8” on 10’ wide sheds
    Floor Deck: 5/8 ” Tongue & Grove Fir plywood
    Rafters: 2” x 4” kiln dried spruce trusses, 24” on centre
    Roof Sheathing: ½” Spruce plywood

  • SIDING

    Smart-Panel siding, 30 year Warranty

  • TRIM

    ¾” Pre-Primed Trim on Eaves, Fascia, Gables, Corners, Doors & Windows.

  • ROOFING

    Laminated Asphalt Shingles with a 30 year warranty and 15lb felt underlay.
    Corrugated 26 gauge metal roof material with an Ice & Water waterproof rubberized membrane applied to the plywood sheathing on Lean-To Sheds

  • ROOF VENTS

      Vents in colours to match shingles, Sun light vents also available.

  • DOORS

    Standard Door: 3’ x 6’ Smart-Panel style with 2” x 3” framing & glued to panel.

  • FOUNDATION PADS

    Concrete pads at all corners and one pad on sides longer than 8’ at a maximum height of 8” each.
